What “Verify Remote” Does
Remote verification checks whether the uploaded backup exists in your storage provider and matches expected metadata (such as file presence and sometimes size).
How to Verify
- Open the module in WHMCS Admin
- Locate a backup in Recent Backups
- Click Verify Remote (if available)
What Verification Results Mean
- Verified: the provider confirms the file exists at the expected location
- Unverifiable: the provider did not confirm (credentials, permissions, path, or API issue)
- Missing: file is not present at the expected remote location
Quick Fixes
- Re-test provider credentials
- Confirm destination folder/path
- Confirm permissions (read/list access needed to verify)
