Nextcloud is a self-hosted file sync, share and collaboration suite — desktop and mobile clients, shared folders, calendars, contacts and document editing, with your data on your server instead of someone else’s. For privacy-conscious teams and anyone with data-sovereignty requirements, that ownership is the whole point. It’s also famously sensitive to how the underlying server is configured, which is exactly where a managed host earns its keep.

- Storage that has to grow. File stores fill up faster than anyone plans for. We monitor usage and scale storage before you hit the wall, and can wire in external/object storage when it makes sense.
- PHP, opcache and memory tuning. A default PHP config makes Nextcloud feel sluggish and throws “memory limit” and upload errors. We tune PHP memory, opcache and APCu so the interface is snappy and large files upload cleanly.
- The upgrade path you can’t skip. Nextcloud won’t let you jump major versions — miss the ladder and you’re stuck. We keep you on a supported version and run the step-by-step upgrades with a backup taken first.
- Background jobs done right. Running housekeeping over AJAX instead of system cron causes the dreaded warnings and slow syncs. We set up real cron so background jobs actually run.
