Self-hosting keeps your business data in your hands and avoids per-user SaaS pricing that balloons as you grow. But Odoo is a serious application: it needs a properly tuned PostgreSQL, the right worker configuration, and a careful hand at upgrade time. Get those wrong and it’s slow exactly when the team is busiest.

- PostgreSQL tuning and backups. Odoo lives and dies on its database. We tune PostgreSQL for your workload and back it up — with the filestore — off-box, so a crash is a restore, not a rebuild.
- Worker and cron sizing. Default single-process Odoo stalls under real load. We configure the right number of workers, memory limits and the longpolling service so it stays responsive at month-end and payroll runs.
- Upgrades that are genuinely hard. Odoo version upgrades — with custom modules in the mix — are famously painful. We plan and test them on a copy first, so your live system isn’t the experiment.
- Reverse proxy and the filestore. Attachments live in a filestore that must be backed up alongside the database, behind a properly configured proxy. We set both up correctly from day one.
