How to Configure HTech PM After Installation
This guide covers the recommended configuration steps after installing and activating HTech PM.
Step 1: Configure Project Statuses
Statuses control the workflow for projects and tasks. Configure these first.
Navigate to:
Addons \u2192 HTech PM \u2192 Statuses
- Create or edit statuses
- Set colors for badges
- Ensure you have at least one open status and one closed/completed status
Step 2: Create Project Templates
Templates standardize project setup and are used by Product Mappings.
Navigate to:
Addons \u2192 HTech PM \u2192 Project Templates
- Create templates for each service you offer
- Add a task list to each template
Step 3: Configure Product Mappings (Optional)
Product Mappings automatically create projects when clients purchase products.
Navigate to:
Addons \u2192 HTech PM \u2192 Product Mappings
Step 4: Confirm Client Area Access
Create a test project for a test client and confirm the client can see it in the client area.
Step 5: Clear WHMCS Cache After Changes
After configuration changes, clear caches:
Utilities \u2192 System \u2192 System Cleanup
