How to Use Product Mappings in HTech PM

Product Mappings automatically create projects when clients purchase specific WHMCS products. Mappings connect a product to a Project Template and a trigger event.

Where to Configure Product Mappings

Navigate to:

Addons \u2192 HTech PM \u2192 Product Mappings

Create a Product Mapping

Select the WHMCS product to map
Select the Project Template to use
Select the trigger event
Save

Trigger Events

On Order: project is created immediately after checkout
On First Payment: project is created when the first related invoice is paid
On Module Create: project is created after successful provisioning

Recommended Setup

Create one template per service offering
Map each product to the correct template
For most workflows, use On First Payment

How to Test

Place an order for a mapped product as a test client
Complete the trigger event (checkout, payment, or provisioning)
Confirm the project exists and tasks were created

Troubleshooting

If no project is created, confirm the mapping and trigger event match your test
If no tasks are created, confirm the template includes tasks
Clear template cache after changes
