How to Generate Invoices From Projects in HTech PM

This guide explains how administrators generate invoices from project work, typically using time entries.


Billing Overview

Open a project and go to the Billing tab (if enabled). This area may show linked invoices and allow invoice creation from time entries.


Generating an Invoice From Time Entries

  • Select the date range for unbilled time entries
  • Review the included entries and totals
  • Create the invoice

After an invoice is created, included time entries may be marked as billed and associated with the invoice.


Troubleshooting

  • If invoice creation fails, confirm the client billing configuration is valid
  • Confirm there are unbilled time entries in the selected range
