What your WHMCS installation needs
- WHMCS: 8.13.0 or newer
- PHP: 8.1, 8.2, 8.3 or 8.4
- ionCube Loader: 14.0 or newer (this module ships ionCube-encoded)
- MySQL / MariaDB: whatever your WHMCS install already runs on — the module adds its own tables and reads no others'
- Outbound network: HTTPS to the storage vendor's reseller API and to your white-label endpoints
PHP 7.4 and PHP 8.0 cannot run this module at all
This is not a support cut-off decided after the fact — the source itself does not parse on either version. The module uses readonly properties throughout and declares at least one native PHP enum, both of which are PHP 8.1+ language features. On PHP 7.4 or 8.0 the encoded files fail at the very first page load rather than running in some degraded way.
If your license manifest or an update check ever refuses your installation on its PHP version, that refusal exists so you get a named error instead of a blank white screen.
On the encoding
Every PHP file in the release ships as a single ionCube-encoded bundle, built to run under PHP 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3, with the 8.3 build also serving PHP 8.4 — there is no separate 8.4 build and none is needed. If your hosting already runs the ionCube Loader version your WHMCS installation itself requires, it will run this module too.
Where these numbers come from
These are not only written on this page: they are declared inside this release's own update manifest, and the module's Update view will not offer you a build outside this range. If your hosting sits between supported PHP versions, check this list again before you install rather than after.
