How to Link Tickets to Projects in HTech PM
HTech PM can link WHMCS support tickets to projects so project work and support communication stay connected.
Linking a Ticket to a Project (Admin)
Open a ticket in WHMCS Admin. Use the HTech PM ticket widget (if enabled) to link the ticket to an existing project or create a new project from the ticket.
Viewing Linked Tickets From a Project
Open a project and select the Tickets tab to see all linked tickets, including quick links back to WHMCS ticket view.
Recommended Use
- Link tickets for work requests that impact project scope or deliverables
- Use project discussions for context and keep ticket replies for support history
Troubleshooting
- If the ticket widget does not appear, confirm the module hook file is installed and active
- Clear WHMCS template cache after updates
